- Does an undeveloped sense of self make one more susceptible to depression?
- How would you define “depression”? Are there different types of depression? For example, what’s the difference between facing a challenging situation (such as a loss of job, death, illness, etc…) and feeling sad, depressed, and discouraged verses being depressed. Is there a difference?
- Does having a strong sense of self make one more able to tolerate challenging situations? I think someone with a strong sense of self will be more capable of wadding through suffering and coming out a better person for it.
- Can someone combat depression by strengthening their sense of self?
